Aliya Turetayeva’s debut album presents a very passionate, technically brilliant and in many passages very profound and intimate interpretation of Schumann’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22, and the Kreisleriana, Op. 16. This is, overall, a brilliantly played CD well worth listening to it!

Ms. Turetayeva plays with uncommon musicality.
Clearly, Ms. Turetayeva is a wonderful lyrical player, and it is a pleasure to hear a young pianist who considers every note and phrase deeply.
Congratulations to Ms. Turetayeva, I’m sure she will go far in her career.

I was very much taken by the beautiful, controlled sound and shining tones she elicits from her instrument.

An extraordinary artist making her extraordinary recorded debut; a must for all.

Aliya Turetayeva knew how to use the grand piano in all its facets, from an emotional one to a virtuoso one.
Dramatic interpretation of Chaconne by Bach-Busoni.
She performed her Schumann with a sublime artistic tension, her melodic lines were strong and beautiful.
